Blogging is a foreign concept to me. I have never done this before, but I am taking the plunge! This blog has been created for my Family Relations class.
I am a non traditional student and am finally fulfilling my dream of finishing college and earning my degree. As a teenager I had an interest in all things "domestic". I took whatever classes I could get my hands on that related to home and family. I loved my Home Economics classes.
About a week prior to signing up for classes at BYU-I, I learned that I could get my degree in Family Consumer Sciences (a new name) with an emphasis in Education. Imagine how thrilled I was to find that out. I will be learning and honing my own knowledge and skills so that I can share what I have learned with 6-12 grade students. I am so excited!
